Ka’Mori Moore Enjoys Iowa Football Visit
'25 Missouri DL Stops at Hawkeye Tailgater
The relationship between Iowa Football and Ka’Mori Moore is moving along steadily. The Class of 2025 Lee’s Summit North High defensive lineman has two Hawkeye campus stops behind him and is planning to be back for a game next month.
Moore (6-0, 321) camped with the Hawkeyes back in June. He returned to town on Sunday for the team’s annual recruiting tailgater.
“I got to see the indoor facility, all the trophies and the locker room,” he told HF. “The thing I liked the most about the visit was the view of the (Kinnick Stadium) field. Man, that was beautiful.”
Iowa State, Nebraska and Miami (OH) have reportedly offered Moore scholarships. He’s visited Ames and Lincoln along with Oregon, Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri (twice).
The Hawkeyes haven’t offered yet but liked what they saw when Moore attended camp and invited him back for the tailgater, a small gathering of recruits solidly on their board.
Defensive line coach Kelvin Bell got to know Moore better on Sunday. He gave Moore a feel for what Iowa is about.
“I spent time with coach Bell. When I spoke with coach Bell, we talked about the main traits he looks for in a guy. After the visit, it felt like we have a good relationship going on,” Moore said.
Moore is tentatively scheduled to attend the Iowa-Iowa State game at Kinnick Stadium on Sept. 10.
“I would love to visit for a game. I would want to see how the D-Line functions and see how much pressure they get on the QB,” he said.
Iowa showed Moore its academic offerings Sunday, and he hopes to learn more about those resources.
“I want to study Business Marketing,” he said.
