Hawk Fanatic Week 7 predictions
Dallas Jones running away with the competition

IOWA CITY, Iowa – With a 4-1 record in his most recent predictions, Dallas Jones had a better week than Bret Bielema and the Dallas Cowboys.

He improved to 25-5 overall with his picks, and as he said last week on Twitter, or X, or whatever you want to call it, he’s running away with the competition.

The second-half of the regular season still remains, though, and up next for Iowa (5-1, 2-1) is Saturday’s game at Wisconsin (4-1, 2-0) that could go a long way in determining the Big Ten West Division title.

Jones apparently feels comfortable with his four-pick lead as he also said on Twitter, or X, or whatever you call it, that he might need to search for better competition.

Now the question is will his trash talk come back to haunt him?

Only time will tell as we enter week 7.

Pat Harty

Wisconsin 19, Iowa 11: Three Drew Stevens field goals and one safety for those wondering how Iowa will score its points.

Rutgers 27, Michigan State 23: I’m starting the rumor that Nick Saban is considering returning to Michigan State to upstage Jim Harbaugh and to work in a facility named after a basketball coach.

Cincinnati 28, Iowa State 24: The good news for Cyclone fans is they no longer have to worry about losing Matt Campbell to a more lucrative and prestigious coaching opportunity.

Notre Dame 31, USC 30: This is for you dad.

Washington 55, Oregon 52: : Hawkeye fans probably wouldn’t recognize the game being played by these two teams.

Last week: 3-2

Overall: 21-9

Wisconsin 17, Iowa 16: A good old ugly, hard fought, Big Ten game. Might need to watch this one is two times speed (ewh game of the week).

Rutgers 24, Michigan State 10: Rutgers is a good football team!

Cincinnati 27, Iowa State 21: Is ISU….good?

USC 30, Notre Dame 23: Caleb Williams, YOU are a Minnesota Viking.

Rutgers 24, Michigan State 17: If you’re wondering how things are going in East Lansing, Rutgers is a five-point favorite in this game.

Cincinnati 30, Iowa State 28: Will someone in the Queen City please ask Matt Campbell if he’s on the hot seat?

USC 27 Notre Dame 24: Pat had to get the Irish back in these picks again. I’m going with USC, which means you bet on ND.

Washington 35, Oregon 34 Maybe this game should be for the Big Ten West championship.

Last week: 3-2

Overall: 19-11

Alex Pruismann

Wisconsin 24, Iowa 17: Iowa’s D and Special teams just can’t quite get it done in Camp Randall.

Rutgers 35, Michigan State 17, Rutgers continues the downfall of MSU.

Iowa State 34,  Cincinnati 17: Cincinnati is not a football school.

Notre Dame 21, USC 20: Great game that will be decided by a last second ND TD.

Washington 37, Oregon 17, Washington. Penix and Washington have me as a believer. Plus their coordinators are Iowans.

Last week: 3-2

Overall: 18-7
