IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Caitlin Clark Foundation has announced four $22,000 grants for local charities that Clark says inspired her during her time at the University of Iowa.
The recipients are:
- The University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital
- The Coralville Community Food Pantry (CCFP)
- The Boys and Girls Club of the Corridor, and
- The Special Olympics of East Central Iowa
Clark has previously engaged with the four organizations, whether providing product donations, participating in events and fundraising efforts, or visiting the Children’s Hospital, which she says was one of her favorite activities as a student-athlete.
The four grants come ahead of Clark’s #22 jersey retirement ceremony at the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball game against USC on February 2nd. The game tips off at 12:30 on Fox, which will also televise the postgame ceremony.
